What is Rooted in Love?
Rooted in Love (RIL) started in 2017 as an event to bring young, Christian singles together to talk about relationships as defined by God from a practical perspective.
Each year we provide a space where we dig deep into the topic of relationships with guest speakers, panels, and breakout sessions. We encourage an atmosphere of transparency, which has led to young adults experiencing freedom from past relational experiences that kept them bound.
RIL also serves as an opportunity for young adults to meet and connect with other young Christians. Over the 2-day weekend, we have intentional social activities to encourage a healthy relationship building.
RIL 2020: It’s A Heart Issue
The past is the past. If only it was that easy, right? We want to be in a relationship, a husband, a wife, a bae! We want our futures now and forget that we need to deal with our pasts first. It’s a heart issue that’s disrupting our present and future, distancing/distracting us from our future or current husband or wife. Can we love God more than we love ourselves, our desires, our pleasures?
This weekend will help us uncover the root of some of our relationship challenges and propel us into a season we're positioned to receive God's relational blessings.
Expect a transparent weekend full of candid discussions from peers and guest speakers who are full of God's wisdom, Holy Spirit-filled revelation, and counsel from personal experiences.
Rooted in Love Changed My Life
When attending Rooted in Love I felt like God was speaking directly to me through the speakers and breakout topics. I went through a messy breakup that broke my heart. God used Rooted in Love to mend my heart and show me the definition of real love.
